More than ten years of professional experience in economic research in areas such as climate change and energy (forecasting emissions and energy consumption, building deep decarbonization scenarios, estimating additional deaths from electricity, emission control policies, carbon embodied in international trade). The developer of the model of the representative energy system of Russia RUTIMES (covers all energy use: coal, oil, natural gas, electricity and heat generation, industry (ferrous metallurgy, cement production, etc.), buildings, import and export of energy resources, contains 8 regions up to 2050, and an annual breakdown by time).

One of the main developers of the R package for modeling a representative energy system energyRt (https://energyrt.org/). Participated in international projects The Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project (DDPP), CD-LINK and FABLE (The Food, Agriculture, Biodiversity, Land-Use, and Energy).

The research results are reflected in prestigious journals from Q1 Scopus and Web of Science (6 papers including Nature Climate Change & Climate Policy) and DDPP and FABLE reports.
