Sarah Pike
Sarah began her independent academic career at the University of Bradford, in 2018, when she was appointed a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry. In 2020, she was awarded a prestigious UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship and a celebrated Birmingham Fellowship. In 2021, she was promoted to Senior Lecturer in Organic Chemistry. Prior to this Sarah was a PDRA in the groups of Prof. Christopher Hunter (FRS) (2016-2018) (Cambridge), Prof. Robin Perutz (FRS) (2014-2015) (York) and Prof. Jonathan Clayden (2011-2014) (Manchester). Sarah's research focuses on the design, synthesis and characterisation of novel supramolecular systems. A particular focus is on the development of supramolecular architectures for applications in sensing and small-molecule delivery.
