Natalia graduated from the Invertebrate Zoology Department (St. Petersburg State University) in 1999. During 2000-2002, she took internships in Copenhagen University, University of Tübingen, and Aahrus University. Since 2000, she has been working at the Department of Invertebrate Zoology (St. Petersburg State University). She has been the organizer and participant of expeditions to the White, Barents, and Greenland Sea. Natalia has been involved in several international scientific and educational projects.
