Marina Baskakova
Ms. Marina Baskakova is an economist specializing in gender studies, labour economics, social assistance and social insurance. Ms. Baskakova led a number of research projects on issues of women and youth in the Russian Federation, the CIS and APEC countries, implemented with the financial support of the Government and sectoral Ministries of the Russian Federation, and Moscow Ombudsman, with technical assistance of theILO, UNDP, UNICEF, UNIFEM, the World Bank and other organizations. Ms. Baskakova is an author of more than 100 scientific research papers. Ms. Baskakova holds a Doctor of Economics degree from the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Institute of Socio-Economic Studies of Population of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a PhD from Labour Research Institute in Moscow.
