Topic for discussion: Without getting any notice of the glass ceiling, women achieve leadership positions in Russian Higher Education.

The problems of the modern world with its conflicts and crises cannot be solved without a deep understanding of women's role in society. These problems are especially acute concerning such categories as power and management. In achieving de facto gender equality, Russia still lags behind the Western world in higher education in terms of academic leadership.

The purpose of the talk is to comprehend a not yet very widespread phenomenon in modern Russia: how did it become possible for a woman to successfully manage one of the leading technical universities in Russia?
